Sakura! [ It's a weird greeting, where Bolin sounds both dismayed and worried. ] Hey- Sakura, it's Bolin. Are you okay? How are you doing? I didn't get to see you yesterday...

Bolin! [ Ah, she's so glad to hear his voice—to hear that he's okay! ] Thank goodness... I-I'm fine. Are you all right?

[sediments]

Uh. [ Uh. ] Yeah, I guess. I'm in one piece.

How about you? You didn't have too hard of a time, did you?

[passtave]

[ Sounds fake, but okay... ]

I-It... It was hard, but I made it out okay thanks to everyone else. Are you sure you're all right?

[ Because he doesn't sound very all right to her right now. ]

Oh yeah? You weren't alone? Who were you with?

[ He needs to vet out potential bodyguards. It helps to focus on something anyway. ]

[ Don't think she doesn't notice that he didn't answer her question... but uh. ]

I think so! [ She sounds a little more animated now. ] It felt like I had more stamina... it's all thanks to you.

Nah, you're the one that put in all the hard work. It's all I can do to help though, I don't understand magic and mana at all.

But I wouldn't have known what to do if you weren't there to help me.

Bolin puffs out his chest a little. ]

Well, you know what they say: there's nothing like helping people help themselves. You can count on me for anything.

[ Charming grin despite this being an audio call. ]

[ The exaggerated braggadocio makes her laugh. ]

Thank you, Bolin. I'm really glad I can count on you. [ She means that!! ] I was so worried that I would be alone here, since I'm not very good at making friends... so I really am glad.

[sediments]

What? I can't think of anyone who wouldn't want to be friends with you. [ He's so cheery as he says this, mood lifting. ] You must've made some here, right? Tell me about them!

[passtave]

[ He says it so readily that she finds herself blushing and looking away... she's never really known how to react to compliments with grace. ]

W-Well... th-there's you, and everyone who helped me on the train. And Miss Sakura and K-Kija and Jae-ha and Allen.

[ There's a thoughtful pause. ]

Th-That's really a lot of people, isn't it? I didn't expect to make so many friends...

[ And because spoon is as transparent as air, Bolin grins a little at that list. ]

Really? I'm not that surprised. You're a really cute girl, plus you're really nice and caring.

[passtave]

[ Cute? ]

H-Huh? I-I'm really not... um...

[sediments]

You are. [ spoon continues to be transparent ] I bet at least half of those guys have a crush on you.

[passtave]

[ Thank goodness this is audio, because she'd hate for him to see how red her face is right now. ]

[ Now he's getting a little surprised. ]
