[ It's been two days since Blanc officially sent them to Lasker for the upcoming mission... That's two days of staying at this particular hotel in Sokrovich. At the moment, Setsuna has just left his assigned room and is heading downstairs. He intends to take a walk outside, try to scope out potential hearsay as he might encounter something useful. It seems better than to idly lie down the whole day. His mind is rather occupied too, filled with thoughts about what might happen on Rosa 20th.
Having visited Lasker before, Setsuna is able to roam without much issue. He's more or less acquainted with the main streets as a result of the previous visit. He's still widely unfamiliar with a lot of its corners, but it's only a matter of time. He usually adapts to most environments with considerate ease, so it shouldn't be a problem later on. So at this point, he already knows where to go if he wanted to hear relevant information or rumors. Little did he know that his plans will be quickly changed soon.
He makes it at the front desk now, walking past the reception as heads toward its grand front door. Along the way, that's where he encounters her. ]
Ah...
[ Noticing the familiar, reddish pink-haired princess near the entrance, he stops and gazes out for a moment. He should probably greet her. ]
[ Sakura has spent most of their time in Sokrovich so far staying in her room and sticking close to the hotel—she's been too anxious to go exploring on her own in an unfamiliar city. But as it turns out, she's also too anxious about Ryder's upcoming arrival in Lasker to spend any more time cooped up. She just keeps thinking about what ifs—what if Noir attacks, what if something bad happens, what if they have to fight, what if what if.
She has to go out and get her mind off of it before she goes stir crazy. Even wandering around by herself seems like a better alternative to that.
She's standing in the lobby of the hotel, her nose buried in a map of Sokrovich, when Setsuna approaches her, and she looks up in surprise that quickly transforms into a relieved smile. ]
[ The princess's relieved expression causes a couple of blinks from him. Setsuna wonders what she's up to; though judging from what she's holding, maybe she's trying to familiarize herself with the area. He looks at the map for a few seconds, then redirects his eyes back to her soft face. ]
Good day. Heading out?
[ Like Caissa, Lasker's streets are crowded and busy... Maybe it's expected from a place where refugees from beyond Blanc's borders are altogether flocking to. Perhaps Sakura's nervous from roaming around alone precisely because of this. ]
[ She follows the direction of his gaze towards her map and subconsciously tilts it towards her chest, as if she's embarrassed to be caught studying a map. Most brave people would probably just go out and explore on their own, but she's too anxious about getting lost for that. ]
Yes. I wanted to... to go shopping, since I have some money from the dungeon.
[ Her uniform is pretty much the only thing she wears right now, since she hasn't been able to afford anything else. It would be nice to wear some other clothes! Though she doesn't know if she'll be able to find the same style of clothes as she's used to wearing back home, since the fashion here is so different... ]
[ Planning ahead is nothing to be ashamed of! Setsuna does it too, so if anything, he admires her for being careful. In an unknown world such as Enprise, it's always better to be more aware of what's ahead of them rather than to jump on ahead blindly. They can never tell what will happen at any given time... So knowing the layout of a town for instance, will come in handy during emergency situations.
Hopefully though, today will remain peaceful. ]
Shopping? I see. I can accompany you, if you do not mind me.
[ It's understandable if Sakura wants to go with someone else, though. So even if she turns him down now, he wouldn't be affected by it at all. He remains bad company as always, and he can't blame her especially after she personally witnessed how embarrassing he can be. ]
[ Ah... she didn't expect him to offer, her surprise written on her face. Would it be strange to go shopping with a man? She's never had to shop for clothes herself before, since everything she wore back home was brought to or made for her, so she doesn't know if people would think it's weird.
More importantly, would it be embarrassing? She doesn't know how she'd feel about Setsuna being there while she bought clothes for herself... but, on the other hand, it would make her feel better to have someone there with her, especially when she's exploring so many new places. It'll make her feel more comfortable, at least while she's walking through the city. Besides, she likes spending time with Setsuna—he's her friend.
But ah... in the end it's hard for her to say no to anyone, for any reason. ]
If you don't mind me... I-I think it would be fun.
